About J. Robert Friedberg, DMD Your Houston Periodontist
For over a decade, Dr. Rob Friedberg has been dedicated to the art and science of dentistry and periodontology. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Friedberg began his journey at Emory University in Atlanta before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut. He then went on to complete a three-year residency in periodontology at UConn. Today, he leads the outstanding team at Dr. Friedberg & Associates, recognized as one of Houston’s premier periodontal practices.

Meet Moayad Mardini, DDS, MDS
Moayad Mardini, DDS, MDS, joins our office after completing a three-year residency training program in periodontics at the University of Connecticut. Throughout his residency training, Dr. Mardini gained extensive experience with minimally invasive techniques to perform periodontal plastic surgery and dental implants for optimal outcomes in esthetics and function. In addition to specialized training in periodontics and implant surgery, he also completed his master of dental science degree focusing on better understanding the progression of periodontal disease. He also completed his training for moderate parenteral anesthesia at UConn Health Center and John Dempsey Hospital. Dr. Mardini is excited to move back home to Texas. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Mardini enjoys the great outdoors. He spends his free time hiking in national parks, kayaking and spending time on the tennis court.
